La Colada – Cabo de Palos

La Colada is a self-service launderette at the Las Dunas shopping centre in Cabo de Palos, handy for anyone spending a few days locally or in La Manga without a washing machine. It opens every day from early morning until after midnight, and even later at weekends.

How it works

There are washing machines of various capacities and tumble dryers, with simple instructions. Several customers highlight the new machines and well-cleaned laundry. You can pay by card through an app, avoiding the need for coins. If paying cash, bring one-euro coins: there is no change machine, and some customers have had to ask the business next door.

What to know

• The premises are not air-conditioned and get hot in summer when the machines are running
• There is a table for folding laundry
• There are cafés next door where you can wait for the wash to finish
• Free parking nearby

The entrance is wheelchair accessible. For other useful services during your holiday, see services in La Manga and Cabo de Palos.
