Island boat trips from Puerto Dos Mares

Solaz Lines runs boat trips from the transit quay at Puerto Dos Mares, at km 3 of La Manga. Its routes visit the islands of Mar Menor and cross into Mediterráneo to reach Isla Grosa. Passengers especially appreciate the crew's commentary about each island along the way.

The routes

The most discussed trip is to Isla Grosa, with a stop for swimming and snorkelling off the island. From there, some departures sail around the side hidden from the mainland, revealing the Farallón islet. The other main option is a tour of the islands of Mar Menor, a calmer trip within the lagoon.

At the swimming stop, the boat provides diving masks, inflatables and a ramp or diving board for jumping into the water. There is a small bar on board serving soft drinks.
