Supermercado Islas Menores

Supermercado Islas Menores is a local supermarket on Avenida Isla Cristina, in the Islas Menores and Mar de Cristal area, south of the Mar Menor. It is family run and, unlike many coastal shops, opens all year, something local residents appreciate.

What you can buy

As well as groceries, including fruit, vegetables, bread, cured meats and drinks, the shop stocks kitchenware, cleaning products and some hardware. Customers say it has everything at good prices, and can order in anything missing.

How it works

Fruit, bread and checkout purchases are handled separately, so queues form at busy times and the aisles become cramped. Opinions on service are divided. It opens Monday to Saturday from morning to evening without a break and closes on Sundays.
