Pool, restaurant and drinks overlooking Mediterráneo in Veneziola

Collados Beach is a Mediterranean restaurant and beach club in the Veneziola development, at km 18 on the final stretch of La Manga. It is right by the beach on the Mediterráneo side, and what most distinguishes it from nearby restaurants is its pool with loungers and sunbeds, by far the most-discussed feature in customer reviews.

A full day by the sea

The idea is to stay for several hours: eat in the restaurant, spend the afternoon at the pool or on the sand, then finish with a drink. These are the most-mentioned facilities:

  • pool with loungers and sunbeds
  • cocktail bar beside the pool and beach
  • changing rooms
  • lifeguard in the swimming area
  • terrace with sea views

The food

The menu is Mediterranean, with rice dishes, fish, shellfish and meat. Arroz a banda (rice cooked in fish stock) is the most-mentioned dish in reviews. Criticism mainly concerns small portions for the price.

Opening hours, bookings and groups

Open Tuesday to Sunday from midday; on Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until the early hours, and on other days closes in mid-afternoon. Closed Mondays. It accepts bookings and large groups, so it is also used for celebrations. The entrance, parking and toilets are wheelchair accessible. A practical note: several visitors complain about mosquitoes and wasps, so bringing repellent is worthwhile. For more places like this, see beach bars in La Manga.
