Mirador de Monte Blanco (oeste)

El Mirador de Monte Blanco (west) is a viewpoint in the Monteblanco residential development, around km 3 and 4 of La Manga del Mar Menor, beside Polígono Cala del Pino. Unlike the eastern viewpoints facing the Mediterráneo, it overlooks the Mar Menor and the interior of the strip.

Its west-facing position is its great strength: almost every review recommends it for sunset over the Mar Menor, and some visitors highlight the panoramic view of La Manga from above.

What to know

It is not a purpose-built viewpoint. Several visitors describe it as a bend at the end of a road in the development, with nowhere to park, and recently have found fences and building work blocking part of the view. It is not wheelchair-accessible either. For a viewpoint with a platform, Monteblanco II, with its 360-degree view, is in the same area.
