Views of the Mediterráneo from Mirador de Monteblanco I, La MangaPanoramic view of Playa de Monteblanco from the eastern viewpointBench and resting area at Mirador de Monteblanco I

A stop on the climb with Playa del Tabal below

El Mirador de Monteblanco I, the east-facing viewpoint, is in the upper part of the Monteblanco residential development, halfway up the hill, at km 3 of La Manga del Mar Menor. It lies on a popular walking and cycling route and appears among the area's viewpoints on the official tourism website for the Region of Murcia.

What you can see from here

The view mainly faces the Mediterráneo. Straight ahead are the open sea and Playa del Tabal; to the right, Plaza del Mar and Mirador del Galúa; to the left, the outline of La Manga stretching north. The panorama takes in several kilometres of Playa de Monteblanco.

How to get up and where to park

The easiest option is to park below, around Plaza Bohemia or in the Zoco de Levante area, and walk up. Further up the same road is Mirador de Monteblanco II, with its 360-degree view, so you can see both on one walk.

It is a short, free stop: a few minutes are enough for photos. For more things to do nearby, see what to visit in La Manga.
