A level walk with the Mediterráneo on your right

El Mirador de Playa Larga is an observation point in Parque Regional de Calblanque, on the coast of Cartagena, along the path linking Playa Larga with the Mirador de Punta Negra. It is an easy walk with no technical difficulty, offering views of one of the park's broadest beaches without a long hike.

Playa Larga from above

Playa Larga is a broad stretch of golden sand with no buildings in sight, and the viewpoint gives a clear view of its shape and the coastline continuing east. The surroundings combine Calblanque's characteristic rocky cliffs with open sea views.

How to follow the route

The path starts beside the Playa Larga car park and follows level ground, with the Mediterráneo on your right, to Punta Negra. It is suitable for children and can be walked at any time of year; in summer, early morning is best as the park has little shade.
