Polideportivo Playa Paraíso

Polideportivo Playa Paraíso is a municipal sports facility run by Cartagena council on Calle Himilce, within the Playa Paraíso development beside Playa Honda. It combines outdoor courts with a gym containing several rooms, and is the most convenient public sports centre for residents and holidaymakers in this part of Mar Menor.

Facilities

According to user reviews, the complex has:

• Padel and tennis courts
• Beach volleyball court
• Artificial-turf 7-a-side football pitch
• Basketball court
• Gym with machines and classes such as spinning

The gym is discussed most. Some appreciate its Saturday and Sunday opening, unusual locally, and the price; others complain that it gets crowded in summer.

Condition of the courts and pitches

Several reviews agree that the football pitch's artificial turf and the tennis court need refurbishment. If you plan to book a court or pitch, ask about its condition first.

Opening hours

Open every day. On weekdays it runs from morning until night without a midday break, while weekends have morning and afternoon sessions. Contact the facility directly for activities and usage prices. Find more options under activities and sport.
